Bonnie’s journey as a yoga teacher began with an initial 200 hour basic training with Integral Yoga. This led her to completing her intermediate training in the same lineage.
Bonnie has been deepening her practice through Heart of Living Yoga teacher training. This training has furthered her ability to bring a very varied and rewarding experience to participants in her yoga sessions.
Bonnie practises Specific Application of Yoga for clients who have cardiac, cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This really helps individuals to lead a better life. This training was through Nischala Joy Devi of Abundant Well Being and Therapeutic Gentle Yoga teacher training at Special Yoga Foundation.
She completed ‘YOGA for Health Lower Backs’. This is a special course that helps people through yoga who experience back pain problems. Research that yoga can help relieve back pain is ongoing by Arthritis Research UK and University of York Research. This evidence is more widely recognised by health professionals in the UK.
Bonnie’s training and experience means she’s able to adapt yoga for everyone. This is regardless of age or special needs of the individual.
Bonnie helps participants to move safely and enjoyably, allowing her students to leave her classes feeling nourished and joyful.
