Our range of Be mindful retreats cater for everyone from beginners to those who practise on a regular basis.

During our Be mindful retreats, we’ll introduce you to a range of mindfulness techniques. These will focus on cultivating peace and happiness in ourselves. We’ll take time to explore what it means to Be mindful. You’ll also be able to connect with the benefits of mindfulness on a personal level.

We will practise mindfulness techniques including meditation. You will experience applying mindfulness in your everyday activities on the retreat. This will help you cultivate your ability to enjoy and savour every moment.

Our beautiful surroundings create the perfect environment in which to practise being mindful. We can practise being mindful in everyday activities such as eating, walking, undertaking creative pursuits and being together. We’ll take time to practise directing awareness to our experiences. We will be working with the breath, the body, and whatever is present for us.  Mindfulness is like yoga for the mind helping us to savour our everyday life.

Our retreat environment offers lots of space where we will practise meditation in a group. You can also take the opportunity to find a quiet space for yourself to meditate throughout the retreat.

New to mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a skill we can all develop and when we do it brings with it several benefits. Mindfulness helps to improve our:

  • decision-making;
  • how we relate with others;
  • reduces stress;
  • makes us more resilient; and
  • more able to respond creatively to situations.

Studies have shown that as little as ten minutes’ practise a day can make a big difference to how we experience life.
